The Courts of Lake St. George can be found nestled in the low-lying hills just south west
of Lake St. George in northern unincorporated area of Pinellas County. The community is
a mandatory not-for-profit homeowners' association, chartered and incorporated by the
State of Florida. The community is made up of 355 homes; approximately seventy-percent
(70%) are duplex-style villas. The remaining thirty-percent (30%) are free standing single-
family homes. Mr. Waldemar Schickedanz developed and built homes on land that was
originally 43 acres of orange and grapefruit groves.
The original builder, Waldemar Schickendanz Brothers, to uphold the restriction set forth
in our documents, formed the Association. Our goal is to keep the community a nice place
in which to live, as well as to protect all of our investments. The Association is made up of
355 homeowners/members. A board of Directors generally consists volunteer homeowners
like you. Additionally, volunteer committees are occasionally asked to handle various community improvements and projects.
Lake St. George South is a great location because of its proximity to Tampa International
Airport, cities of Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin, St. Petersburg, the lovely white sand
beaches in Clearwater, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, shopping centers, movie theaters, golf
courses, multiple gyms, restaurants, and the top ranked schools in Pinellas County, all
which makes this a convenient community to live in.
